Misty and Jamie were married on November 21 at The Buckner Center in the Spanish Colonial Historic District of Fort McClellan, Alabama. The Buckner Center was constructed in 1936 and is an amazing place to film! The ceremony was held in the Zannie Theatre (an old movie theatre) with the reception following in the Grand Hall. Misty and Jamie wanted to take the “movie” theme from the moment the guests arrived at the Theatre until they left the reception. We collaborated with them to create a movie poster to display as guests entered the Theatre and created a Same Day Edit that was played before their first dance. Misty and Jamie, along with all their guests, were blown away with the compilation of their day!
This wedding had so many unique touches, but there are three I must mention. One, Misty was an amazing bride! She planned a beautiful wedding and did much of it herself. Two, her wonderful Maid of Honor created her Bridal cake. Three, Jamie had the best grooms “cake” ever! His table consisted of a chocolate milk fountain and Krispy Kreme donuts. AND we received a dozen donuts to take home at the end of the night. Krispy Kreme donuts are a Dig It All favorite! I think I’ll go get one now … Truly a memorable wedding.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE this movie poster and the opening to their SDE! How did you plan the phone conversation, that was a GREAT start to this film!!
Thanks! We had a lot of fun with their movie themed wedding. The phone conversation was being in the right place at the right time. We were thrilled to capture that! We had the most comments on that scene. That was our first SDE and we had a blast doing it! We can’t wait to do more!
